Gene Carr created the Santee POAs in 1964 on the Gene Carr Horse Ranch. He dedicated his life to the promotion of responsible horse ownership and horse breeding. More than just a list of accomplishments, Gene offered education, advice, encouragement and some great stories for all horse lovers. Gene passed away October 25, 2017. After his passing, his family is continuing his legacy of the Santee POAs on the Carrs Horse Ranch.
